Ingredients
3 tomatoes
White onion
1 jalapeño
cilantro
Lime juice
salt
A fresh pico de gallo is a great addition to any steak, salmon or any main course you can think of. Start by dicing 3 tomatoes, you can make the tomatoes to your desired size but for dicing the onion, take half of a white onion and dice it finely. No one really wants to have a giant chunk of onion. Now depending on your preference of spice the cutting on the jalapeños will vary. If spice isn’t your thing make sure you remove the seeds and white membrane before dicing it. Removing these membranes and seeds gives it more of a mild flavor to it. Add the desired amount of cilantro to the mix and then juice 2 limes and salt and mix everything in a bowl. Allow the pico de gallo to sit and rest for about 30 minutes cause the salt will help draw out a lot of the flavor in it. Refrigerate and serve with your choice of meals!
